The truth about Sudesi and Sinna Vayasu Ilaya Thalapathy

March 23, 2006 · by sudhishkamath

Disclaimer: Sudesi was not produced by Suderman and any resemblance to names or characters is purely co-incidental and completely detrimental to my image.

Warning: When you damage Suderman’s image, you are likely to damage yours too, literally, as the pic above shows.

Notice: This is also to serve legal notice on Sinna Vaiyasu Ilaya Thalapathy look-alike fraud boy who has bad-mouthed the Sokka Thangam ‘Captain’ in his review of Sudesi.

Clarification: Contrary to public opinion that my review of the movie is doing its rounds as a forward, Suderman seeks to clarify that he has written no such review and any such attempt to pass off Fraud Praveen’s review as mine will be seen as ethir-katchi conspiracy against Captain.

Post script: Suderman completely endorses Captain’s election manifesto.

Late realisation: I just crossed 2 lakh hits… thanks pa, Praveen! 😀
(Last two days alone have resulted in over 2500 hits, thanks to the paeru and pugazh you have brought me… now it is my turn to repay the favour! He he!)

    Good one Sudhish.

When I got the Sudhesi review as a forward, I was wondering why you were pulling your own leg by calling yourself the Producer. Now I understand 🙂

btw I dont find a speck of semblance between actor vijay and this guy :(Infact this guy looks like Javagal Srinath. Am I right??

    ha ha!
    im not so sure.

    anusha:
im sure your comment would have made praveen smile in relief but no, to my eyes, he will always be sinna vaiyasu ilaya thalapathy! besides, this is without photoshop touch up… so obviously it wont be identical..
if he can safely assume that namma sudhish is producer of sudesi, i can also safely assume that sinna vaiyasulae ilaya thalapathy looked like namma praveen… 🙂
    besides, who said im reasonable?

Hey me just saw my commentbox and realised how one person had pongi ezhuthufied! Looks like loadsa new people, who aren familiar with my blog, got to read it and took it seriously. So apologies if it really did damage ur image as a Captain fan 😀

And I dunno how i missed this – TREATTT for 2lakhs 😀 [this post shall not considered as a treat!]

With 5000 people reading the post I’ll have to refine the post now to avoid Captain fans demanding my dismissal from college, failing which they’d all stop their graduate studies, a la IIPM! Boo hoo for that 😦

    Hi Suderman,
I read your article in Hindu about Sudesi movie. Honestly you have to tell me whether you liked it or not. As a connoisseur, you have the right to be critical about a movie instead finding few good things in that movie (I mean 1 or 2 good things out of 1 lakh things that went bad). Frankly I agree with your friend’s post. Please don’t think I am critising your job. It is just that why would someone say good things about a movie (in this case, intention of that movie star) when it sucked totally. I have read Ananda Vikatan reviews for a long time and generally it was good but for some reason Hindu reviews always sucked because they invent good things in that movie and write about it, which are not seen by movie going public. I guess it is their policy not to write anything bad about a movie. If it is true, God bless Hindu.

    thanks

    and praveen 😀

Anniku nee describe panniya.. theatrela, i was slightly doubtful whether he (Praveen)really looked so. Today confirmation! with evidence 🙂

    Nalla shokka irukka ba!

    PUBLIC DEMAND : SHIMLA PHOTO!
LET us JUDGE WHETHER IT RESEMBLES GABTUN

    praveen:
    *evil laugh*

    wicked angel:
you mean you dint save his photograph? i mean how can you not? he’s the latest pin up boy… captain fans will surely pin him down and show him their loves! ha ha!

    harish:
    please send the foto!!
we can always update the photo! 😀

    ferrari:
by public demand, we will host that one too!!

    anon:
the hindu article was not a review of cinematic form. it was a news story. it was just decoding political content in the film. as a journalist, its my duty to tell people what is his election manifesto… what he is trying to say has nothing to do with what i thought about the movie as such.
and if you are into analysing captain’s movie for artistic and aesthetic qualities, you need to participate in the vodkathon (see prabhukrish dot net) and take a break.

    incognito:
im glad you see the resemblence… ha ha!

When I first saw “Produced by L.K.Sudhish” I was like, @#$@#$@#!!! Is this Sudhish Kamath??!! And then i read the forward (which was a ccp from Sinna Vayasu Ilaya thalapadhi’s blog!) and was so convinced you had produced it, that I dropped down dead. I mean with a movie like TFLW on one side, Sudesi is a stark contrast. He he.. Thanks to SVIT Praveen, I had a heart attack.
