Announcing Sudermovies!

March 9, 2007 · by sudhishkamath

I know that an overdose of own film is probably making it boring for a lot of you regular readers. But like I said a few weeks ago, I’ve stopped blogging for readers.

It’s a more personal exercise these days. So if there’s only That Four Letter Word in my mind, that’s all you will find here.

But I do understand that a lot of you come here mainly to read my reviews. To save you the trouble of reading largely self-indulgent posts, I give you Sudermovies, my new blog on movie reviews, opinions and random thoughts.

And for those of you who still haven’t seen TFLW, read the post below. It’s playing at Studio 5, Sathyam Cinemas at 11 a.m. on March 10 and 11. Those who’ve already seen the film, please spread the word and let your friends know.

    FOUR LETTER WORD

This is a good effort to bring fresh talent to the movie audience, with a story line like a Cloth that is well knitted with different colours of thread (The thread I’ve mentioned here is the characters portrayed in the film). Using “Pause” instead of the regular “Intermission” is a good ploy. Guest appearance by Madhavan brings the usual uproar of the audience.

The comic strips had better clarity and freshness to the eyes than some parts of the movie. Each characters in the film brings different colour to the movie except for the Cinematography, it makes the audience to see the movie with some effort (we know you have made this movie out of great effort….Do the audience have to feel the same??!!….)

On the other hand, there is a lot of freshness in the movie right from the Title, at places where love is played on & in the end (about reality – “what really happened…”)

A good movie, some what sounded like a motivation for the “Optimistic budding movie directors” to go ahead in film making no matter what happens…..& a “Big Caution” for others who are not optimistic about film making….

One thing at the end, we do have a lot of Western Influence in cinema. Why don’t we adopt good things from them like; Corporate people getting into the picture of making movies & to give a good hand to talented people like the one did this movie or any other for that matter, so that the quality of movie will be enhanced and movies will reach the audiences world wide.

I hope the corporate people will take cue from such cries made by many and come out soon & help talented movie makers to make good movies & get rich dividends out of it…not only for them! But, for the movie lovers too…

    regards
    Achuthan.

hello, i’m nilu’s father. At least i hope and think so. He is extremely obsessed with you and your movie that he’s now embarassed to admit it. hence the post is attributed to a reader. everybody knows that nilu, the othernilu and all his anonymous commenters are a product of his own limited imagination. Don’t take my retard boy seriously.
Ps-I didn’t get a chance to watch your movie. Can you tell me how I can?
